Terms & Conditions
By entering any tournament an entrant
agrees to and is bound by the following rules and
guidelines:
GENERAL
I understand that Club communications are done primarily via
the club website and via email. This includes but is not
limited to changes in times, cancellations and postponements
or changes in schedules, rules, entry due dates.

I understand that there are Local Rules and Guidelines
adopted by the Club.
I know where to find the rules for each
Tournament. www.golfwoodbridge.com/rules.html.
I understand and agree that cellular phones are for
emergencies only.
I understand and agree that I must be able to keep up with
the pace of play to participate in the Club events.
I understand and agree that it is my duty to post all scores
from rounds played outside the Club tournaments (we post
those).
I understand and agree that it is my duty to keep the Club
informed of any changes to address, email or phone numbers.
I understand and agree that the Club has the right to limit
the number of players to any given tournament.
I understand and agree that an entry form must be submitted
and confirmed for each and every tournament.
TOURNAMENT ENTRY
I understand and agree that entries are confirmed
only upon receipt of the designated entry fee on or before
the entry due date or before the tournament reaches the
maximum number of players, whichever is earliest.

Additionally I understand and agree that:
· There are no automatic "carrryforwards" to a future
tournament in case of credits or cancellations.
· Verbal, telephone calls or messages, email, or fax are not
forms of entry.
· Entries must be "received" by the due date (not
postmarked).
· Failure of the postal delivery system is not the
responsibility of the Club.
· It is the players duty to check the "entries received"
located in the "Pairings" area on the Club website to verify
receipt of their entry before the entry due date and to
notify the Club of any discrepancy (name not there)

· Notification received after the pairings have been made
public is generally considered too late to correct.
I understand and agree that if my name does not appear on
the pairings sheet and there is no record of the entry being
received, entry into the tournament is at the sole
discretion of the Club.
I understand and agree that entry fees received after the
due date will be returned or, at the sole discretion of the
Club, the player may be used as a substitute or fill in.
Substitutes and fill-ins are at the sole discretion of the
Club due to the time required to make tournament preparation
changes.
I understand and agree that being a "no show" at a
tournament is disruptive and may lead to further action by
the Club.
I understand and agree that the Club has no duty or
obligation to any player late for their tee time and that
the late player(s), at the sole discretion of the Club, may
be disqualified from the tournament.
CANCELLATIONS
I understand and agree that any cancellation notice received
after the entry fee due date, or any other date so
designated by the Club, is subject to full forfeiture of
that entry fee.
I understand and agree that the Club has no obligation or
duty to find substitutes or fill in players.
I understand and agree that there are no "contingent"
notices of cancellation. Any notice of potential
cancellation may be deemed a cancellation by the Club.
I understand and agree that when notice of cancellation is
received after the entry due date, the player will be
removed from the tournament roster and pairings sheet.
I understand and agree that when a player who has given
notice of cancellation after the entry due date, or date
otherwise designated by the Club, and who is subsequently
removed from the tournament pairings sheet and roster,
remains subject to full forfeiture of the entry fee
regardless of the status on the tournament i.e.
cancellation, rain out.
I understand and agree that players who are on the
tournament roster and pairings sheet at the time of any
event cancellation and that results in reimbursement to the
Club by the tournament golf course, will receive a refund or
credit proportionate to the refund, if any, received by the
Club.
Prior notice of personal cancellation will remove an entrant
from the tournament roster and pairings sheet; Player may
not be eligible for any reimbursement.
I understand and agree that any reimbursement made to any
player who gives notice of cancellation, or who has been
deemed as giving notice of cancellation, after the
tournament due date, or date otherwise designated by the
Club, is at the full and sole discretion of the Club.
